THE CORPORATION OF THE VILLAGE OF AGRICULTURAL MODEL OF NOTRE DAME-DE-LA-AT THE Sallet RESEARCH A / A COORDINATOR OF COMMUNITY AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT

THIS MANDATE IS TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE PROJECTS mobilize and structure EMERGING OF A SHARED VISION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT AND INFLUENCE OF AGRICULTURAL MODEL VILLAGE OF NOTRE-DAME-DE-LA-Salette.

Under the supervision of the President of the Corporation, you will:

Development (70%)
• Ensure completion of development projects in the Action Plan 2010-2011.
• Identify sources of financing and producing applications from potential donors.
• Develop a promotional strategy to publicize the village.
• Participate in the project of creating a multipurpose room to serve the community.
Representation and liaison (20%)
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships partnerships with associations of socioeconomic development, rural and institutional.
• Support working groups of the Corporation in developing their sector

Management (10%)
• Prepare progress reports and final project reports.
• Develop a budget monitoring process.
• Collaborate in the design of Internet content on the association and community development.
Qualifications: • Bachelor
social science, social work, or second cycle studies developing regional, local or other related fields combined with experience transferable warrant issued; or college diploma in community development, rural combined with two years of transferable warrant issued;
• Three to five years of experience in project management.

Knowledge:
• Middle and dynamics of rural development and community planning;
• Main actors territorial economic development partners, and provincial
• Microsoft Suite (especially Outlook applications, Word, Excel).
• Project management computer is desirable.

qualities: interpersonal, leadership, creativity, adaptability, visionary, detail-oriented manner, determination and teamwork. Selected candidates will undergo a psychometric test.

Work schedule / fee: 21 hrs / wk. (3 days of work). One-year contract - possibility of renewal. $ 20.00 per hour, self-employed status.

The successful candidate must have a valid driver's license and a means to move with ease.
